Capromo®(mavacamten) is a reversible allosteric inhibitor of cardiac myosin, used to treat adult animals with obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) of New York Heart Association (NYHA) Class II-III (B-C), to improve function and symptoms.Specifications: 1mg*28s
Dosage:
- Prohibited for pregnant animals.
- Not recommended for patients with left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) <55% to use or increase mavacamten dosage.
- Suggested starting dose is 0.5mg, once daily (half a tablet daily).
For cats or dogs weighing less than 2.5 kg, the starting dose is 0.1mg
per kilogram of body weight daily. During medication, use ACEI (e.g.,
benazepril) and, if necessary, diuretics (oral at normal dosage for
cats). No conflict with anticoagulant drugs; can be used in conjunction.
Expiration date: 24 months
New users will receive a free bottle of Vescap, which can be taken with Capromo for enhanced effects, effectively providing myocardial nutrition for cats with HCM.
Vescap is an ethyl ester of the omega-3 fatty acid eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA). EPA reduces hepatic very low-density lipoprotein triglycerides (VLDL-TG) synthesis and/or secretion and enhances TG clearance from circulating VLDL particles. Potential mechanisms of action include increased β-oxidation; inhibition of acyl-CoA:1,2-diacylglycerol acyltransferase (DGAT); decreased lipogenesis in the liver; and increased plasma lipoprotein lipase activity.Dosage & administration: The daily dose of Vescap 1 capsule for cat.Composition:Each Soft Gelatin Capsule contains Icosapent Ethyl INN 1 g
