Its purpose is to ameliorate clinical symptoms, safeguard residual renal function, and mitigate the potential for sustained deterioration in renal function, thereby diminishing the likelihood of progression to end-stage kidney disease (ESKD).

CKD is a common progressive and irreversible disease in cats & dogs. Consult your veterinarian for help in the diagnosis, treatment and control of CKD. Give the exact amount prescribed and only as often as directed. Do not skip doses or stop giving the medication without consulting your veterinarian. Petney  is not a cure for CKD. Cats & Dogs will needs the drug for the rest of their lives.
